Rafaela Camelo
A director and screenwriter from Brazil, she graduated in Audiovisual Studies from the University of Brasília (UnB) and holds a postgraduate degree in screenwriting from FAAP. Her debut feature film, “The Nature of Invisible Things”, a Brazil-Chile co-production, will premiere at Berlinale 2025. She has been a member of Rede Paradiso since 2019, the year she won the Cabíria Award for Best Feature Screenplay. With the short film “As Miçangas”, co-directed with Emanuel Lavor, she was selected for Berlinale 2023 and won Best Short Film awards at the 36th Film Fest Dresden and Panorama Coisa de Cinema. Previously, her short film “O Mistério da Carne”, which she wrote and directed, was selected for Sundance 2019 and won Best Film awards at Biarritz Amérique Latine and Fest New Directors New Films. She has participated in labs such as Produire au Sud and BrLab, winning the main award at BAL-Lab 2019 (France). In 2021, she joined the Latin American program of Berlinale Talents.

Otavio Chamorro
He is a screenwriter, director and producer from Brazil. Partner at Apoteótica Cinematográfica, he has written and directed the short-length comedies “The Fugitives”, awarded as “Best Screenplay” at Mix Brasil, “The Bitchhiker”, with several awards in Brazil and Switzerland (“Most Controversial Film” at QueerSicht) and “Floozy Suzy”, awarded as “Best Direction”, also at Mix Brasil. Currently, his TV project “Call Center” won one of the most important series screenwriting contests in Brazil (NetlabTv). He is now pre-producing his first full-length comedy, the LGBT coming-of-age film “It takes two”. In Brazil, he works writing TV shows for several channels and platforms, such as Paramount, HBO, Globoplay, among others.
